so this isn't the best news, but at least it's news like i promised (very frequent updates, i know, no need to praise me)

the project will be *TEMPORARILY* put on hold.

i cant stress enough that im really just taking a break, im not going to ditch the project like the last 800 times, i really am just busy with something else for the time being, and there will be an update when i start working on the phone chronicles again

more art and stuff and eventually animation will come soon enough

so far i've still been working on the story of the animation and i feel confident to say that i can get it done this year, of course i will also be posting artwork that'll be featured in the animation itself along the way

the animation itself i plan to be long, but somewhat poorly animated, but i'll get better the more animations i make in this series, and i hope you all stick around that long to see me reach my full potential

you all may or may not have noticed that old art on this account has been deleted, i deleted this old "embarrassing" art because i thought it wasn't a big deal.

well, it kinda was

but now i have access to an old hard drive containing not only a lot of stuff that was deleted, but also tons of stuff that isn't art

keep in mind that tons of stuff is still missing (at least im pretty sure, since the amount of art recovered is surprisingly low)

but i have other methods to get old art

(pictured below is one of the "edgy" artworks that would've been otherwise lost)

i'm making this post cuz i haven't made one in a while

the story is progressing fine though I might need medication for adhd and that's gonna take a long time, i also need to make a background and get some better lighting for next installments

So I actually finished all of the models I needed probably a week ago, I've just been taking a little break as to not overwork myself like i did before. there are 12 unique characters in total and the story is coming along well.

i project that the second episode will be done by march, february if i really rush it

this is an update on the potential stop motion continuation of the phone chronicals, and i'm very happy with the sculpts i've made so far, all of the characters coming to a grand total of 9 original, fully fleshed out character designs which will potentially become 10 in the near future

as for the animation itself, I plan on taking my sweet ass time with it instead of rushing through it at light speed like i did with my (much older) animations. this is more of a learning experience than an actual creative project as i have little to no experience with stop motion animation.

recently my creative juices have begun flowing once again and I feel like I can continue the phone chronicals, though no promises as usual. If I make something that I don't like, I won't share it here.

Now that I have a real editing software (premiere pro) expect the quality to drastically shift for the better, though I'm still learning animation so don't expect any improvements in that department.

no promises! I may just scrap this idea, or I could just never finish it because of life stuff, but I'll post some characters soon. (maybe in a few days, maybe in a few hours)

Hey everyone, it's been.. a while since I've last used this site, just know that I'll probably be posting more often now.

As for the reason, well, it's kinda straight forward. I haven't made much art recently (that I can post publicly) and also lack of self-confidence, I hope you can be patient and wait for more cool stuff ahead.

Let's just say its been so long since I last used this website that my art style has completely shifted

My latest movie which is very embarrassing to say the least was made with kapwing, though newer animations (if i make any) will be made with Adobe Premiere pro

as you all know, (or don't, i don't think i've actually mentioned this before) i'm fairly new to stop motion, so i'm still working out a lot of the kinks and quirks that end up making stuff look bad, though i do actually have about 4 years of experience sculpting with clay under my belt, might be 5, i don't actually really remember when i started

i AM working on part 2 as soon as possible, i just need adequate sleep and resting before i can begin the animation process, as i've learned the hard way animating sleep deprived is not a good idea at all

i'm glad the last one wasn't completely destroyed rating-wise and was actually not completely despised, as i worked on it pretty hard

i'm more focusing on the lore and story because that's mostly what i'm good at, expect more of that on a separate twitter account i will make in the near future
